Branislav Ivanovic, Kurt Zouma and Gary Cahill were rated by the media as Chelsea’s worst three players in their Champions League defeat to Porto.

Chelsea were beaten 2-1 in Portugal on Tuesday evening, with Andre Andre and Maicon scoring either side of Willian’s free-kick to heap more misery on Jose Mourinho’s side after they lost further ground in the Premier League at the weekend.

Ivanovic was rated as the Blues’ worst player on the night, earning an average score of just 4.625 from the Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph and The Sun, but he was far from the only player to score badly after a hugely disappointing team performance.

Only the generosity of the Mail helped Zouma and Cahill to average ratings of more than 5/10, while John Obi Mikel and Pedro were each awarded two scores of 5/10 and two of 6/10 from the four publications.

Asmir Begovic, Cesar Azpilicueta and Cesc Fabregas each got one mark of 5/10, leaving only Ramires (6/10), Costa (6/10) and man of the match Willian, who scored an average mark of over 7/10.
