Chelsea stars believe Hazard set for summer Spain move

Chelsea’s stars are growing increasingly concerned that key man Eden Hazard will leave the club this summer, a report claims.

Hazard was part of the Chelsea side which lost 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City on Sunday.

The Belgian was once again played out of position by manager Antonio Conte, who opted to go without a recognised striker.

His frustration was visible, with the reported Real Madrid target having just 39 touches in the whole game.

Now, the Telegraph claims that the other Chelsea players can sense that he is no longer happy at Stamford Bridge and is heading for a summer exit.

The report states that Hazard wants to play with the best players on the planet, with Spain being his preferred destination.

Sky Sports pundit Carragher believes Chelsea will “have a major problem” in persuading Hazard to turn a blind eye to the advances from Real Madrid.

“He’s the star player at Chelsea, but there has always been talk of him moving on,” Carragher told MNF.

“I have no doubt that at the end of that game, as soon as he got on that coach or got home, he will have been right on the phone to his agent saying, ‘get me out of here’.

“Honestly, 100 per cent he would have been.

“He will have been that frustrated thinking, ‘I should be playing in this team, they’ve got the ball. I should be playing in a team that actually dominates the game’.

“Eden Hazard running around up there on his own, not getting a kick of the ball. You want to show everyone in the world watching how good of a player he is.

“I think they will have a major problem keeping him after that.”
