Eden Hazard has admitted both he and Thibaut Courtois “would love” fellow Belgian Radja Nainggolan to leave Roma and join them at Chelsea.
Nainggolan has refused to rule out a move to Stamford Bridge following Euro 2016, and new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will get another good look at the 28-year-old midfielder when his Italy side take on Belgium in their Group E opener on Monday night.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Hazard said: “I think he is one of the best in the world in his position. Thibaut Courtois and myself would love him to come to Chelsea, but we are not in charge of the situation.
“He’s focused on the European Championship and we’ll see what happens after that.”
Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Roma are ‘convinced’ that Nainngolan will opt to stay at the club despite Chelsea being willing to part with up to £35m to sign him.
