Radja Nainggolan: Has spoke about Chelsea move

Eden Hazard has admitted both he and Thibaut Courtois “would love” fellow Belgian Radja Nainggolan to leave Roma and join them at Chelsea.

Nainggolan has refused to rule out a move to Stamford Bridge following Euro 2016, and new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will get another good look at the 28-year-old midfielder when his Italy side take on Belgium in their Group E opener on Monday night.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Hazard said: “I think he is one of the best in the world in his position. Thibaut Courtois and myself would love him to come to Chelsea, but we are not in charge of the situation.

“He’s focused on the European Championship and we’ll see what happens after that.”

Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Roma are ‘convinced’ that Nainngolan will opt to stay at the club despite Chelsea being willing to part with up to £35m to sign him.

Nainngolan seems very unsure about joining Chelsea rated as on the top clubs in world football, I dont see why we should run after a player like him, admittedly I have not seen a lot of him but he appears to be another Matic will start off like a house on fire but will he be a great long term investment. I have serious doubts.

Rover, its a rumour that just isnt going away, two of our own stars rate him highly, have openly said as much, might help them settle after the seasonstheyve had and I’ve always thought him more a box to box midfielder. Would that free up defensive duties for Fabregas and Hazard? I reckon could be a useful addition but the player must agree to it and the clubs would have to find a fee, and will conte use or want him? just like being linked with capable players at the minute.

I believe he will be useful for the team. He defends well and he attacks better than Matic / Mikel. But 29 years old 35m? That seems a bit excessive

I think for the the fee being quoted, it is not worthwhile, especially when Pjanic has just gone for 25 million. In addition, seeing the Conte gave Pogba his breakthrough and how well he setup an Italian team that by and far is much weaker compared to certain times, it gives me hope he could squeeze in some of our youngsters and focus on making us a strong unit. I really do think Loftus Cheek has the ability to be a great box to box midfielder or play from deeper rather than as a No.10
