Chelsea talk intensifies after Bonucci’s agent ‘spotted’ in London

Leonardo Bonucci’s move to England could be a step closer after his agent was spotted in London last week, according to a report in Italy.

La Stampa claim agent Alessandro Lucci had a number of suitors to speak with Chelsea and Manchester City heavily linked with the central defender.

The report claims Chelsea are considering a €55million offer for the defender, though Juve president Andrea Agnelli is going to turn it down, unless Bonucci himself asks to leave.

Bonucci himself claimed all the speculation of a Turin departure was “talk” in midweek after Italy’s win over Uruguay, but there have been reports suggesting the player and Juve boss Massimo Allegri have fallen out.

Allegri has signed a new deal until 2019 with Juve and has apparently demanded that Bonucci be moved on.

The Sun yesterday reported that Chelsea will offer £48m plus midfielder Nemanja Matic to sign Bonucci this summer.

Antonio Conte coached Bonucci during his time as Juve boss and is desperate to bring him to Stamford Bridge and slot him alongside David Luiz and Gary Cahill.
