Chelsea target Antoine Griezmann has reportedly prioritised a move to the Premier League.
The Daily Mail reports that the 24-year-old France attacker “has told close pals” he would like a move to England if he leaves Atletico Madrid in the summer.
Griezmann has been interesting Chelsea for the last year or so and the Blues are believed to have tried to sign the player last summer.
Atletico though have always insisted the player is not for sale.
Club president Enrique Cerezo told Spanish radio station, Cadena Ser: “Antoine Griezmann is very happy and satisfied here.
Manchester City and Manchester United have both been linked with the Frenchman and could rival Chelsea in the race for his signature.
Griezmann, however, last month gave little indication that he is considering a move away from Vicente Calderon Stadium.
“This is a big club and I want to achieve great things here. I am ambitious and my goal is to win trophies here.
“I have become more mature. The club and my team-mates rely on me.”
