James Rodriguez: Wanted by Liverpool

James Rodriguez could be set for a move to the Premier League after he revealed he has “offers” and his Real Madrid future to consider.

The Colombian is continuing to struggle for game time under Zinedine Zidane and, after being an unused substitute on Sunday when Real defeated Kashima Antlers 4-2 in the Club World Cup final in Yokohama, admitted he will consider his options.

“I can’t assure I will stay at Real Madrid,” Rodriguez revealed after the game.

“I have offers and seven days left to think about my future.

“I am happy in Madrid, but I want to play more. I have a bitter feeling as I wanted to play the final, but I am happy for the title. It’s the 15th title in my career.”

His comments will put Chelsea in particular on high alert, who have long been linked with £75million move for the former Monaco man and are set to receive a huge windfall when fellow attacking midfielder Oscar completes his whopping £60million deal to Shanghai SIPG.
