Chelsea and Napoli are set to fight it out for a Fiorentina star according to reports from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport.
The Roma-based paper claims that Federico Chiesa is attracting interest from Chelsea as well as Serie A duo Napoli and Inter Milan.
The report claims that the 19-year-old is valued around €40million, but it currently considered untouchable by Fiorentina.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis recently admitted that he “had asked the Della Valle brothers [Fiorentina owners] for him [Chiesa] as recently as twenty days ago.”
Chiesa enjoyed a breakout season for Fiorentina during the 2016/17 campaign and has already scored twice this season for the Viola.
De Laurentiis has reportedly asked Fiorentina to inform him if there is a change in their stance, but Fiorentina are understandably reluctant to sell given they lost star Federico Bernardeschi to Juventus in the summer.
