Chelsea will edge out Manchester United in the race to sign Juventus full-back Alex Sandro, according to reports.
The left-back has four assists and one goal in 19 appearances so far this campaign but he reportedly wants to leave the Serie A club in January.
Sandro isn’t short of suitors with reported interest from both the Blues and the Red Devils going back to the summer transfer window.
And the Daily Mirror claims that Juve are now open to offers for the 26-year-old and Chelsea are ready to seal a £50million deal.
The mounting fixture pile-up both domestically and in European competitions will force Conte into the market and they are understood to be keen to make a quick move to beat Jose Mourinho to Sandro.
The report continues by suggesting that Conte will also make a move for a striker, while they remain interested in Everton midfielder Ross Barkley – but Spurs are the favourites for his signature.
