Jose Mourinho has once again played down reports that Chelsea will look to bring in new players in January to halt their alarming run of form this season.
The Blues have been linked with numerous reported transfer targets in a bid to improve their position, including Tottenham striker Harry Kane and midfielder Mousa Dembele, as well as Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
Mourinho, however, refused to respond to names, but repeated his recent claim he would not be seeking squad changes in the forthcoming window.
“This is stories that start on September 1 when the market closes and stories that are going to be more and more and more when January 1 is getting closer,” Mourinho said.
“I know which players are possible, I know which players are impossible.
“But I also know what I told you, which is the truth, which is I will not ask players from the board and I will try to do my job the best I can and try to get the best results with the players we have.”
