Robbie Keane: Talks Leeds United

It was reported over the weekend that Upamecano was close to joining United, who first tried to sign the 16-year-old in January, but France Football claims the Red Devils’ failure to agree a fee with Valenciennes has opened the door for City, who are willing to offer more than their rivals.

Arsenal are also said to have made an approach for Upamecano, who caught the eye whilst helping France to U17 European Championship glory, but the Gunners are yet to make a bid, leaving the two Manchester rivals to fight it out.

United have offered approximately £323,000, but Valenciennes want closer to £500,000 plus additional fees to part with the centre-back.
