Colchester release duo

Boss Tony Humes has decided the experienced centre-back and young striker, who have seen their chances restricted in recent months, are surplus to requirements.

“We signed Dom on a year’s contract after he had come through Crewe’s excellent academy but he has found it hard to break into the squad over the season and his contract won’t be extended,” Humes told the club’s official website.

“Sean had another year left on his contract but it was in everyone’s interests that it was terminated, allowing Sean to find another club over the summer.”
