Antonio Conte has made Chelsea’s stance on Asmir Begovic’s future crystal clear, while also hinting at some possible loan departures.
The Blues have been linked with a whole host of potential goalkeeping options as Bournemouth remain intent on adding Chelsea’s current No.2 to their squad.
But Conte has warned he is under no pressure to sell the Bosnian before the deadline closes.
“Begovic will be allowed to leave if we can find a suitable replacement, but if not, he will stay at the club,” Conte said.
“For sure there is this Begovic situation. Bournemouth asked him but he’s Chelsea’s player. I’m happy with him.”
“It’s important to understand this and he will start tomorrow.”
Conte was also asked the clarify the futures of a number of players who currently find themselves on the fringes of the Chelsea first team.
He added: “Chalobah and Loftus-Cheek will definitely stay with us for the rest of the season. Ola Aina could potentially go on loan.
“Tomorrow’s game is another chance for Michy Batshuayi to show his improvement.”
