Antonio Conte has once again expressed his frustration with the transfer market and said it will be “very difficult” to add to his Chelsea squad.
The Italian, who has labelled this summer’s transfer window as “crazy”, was asked if the Blues were any closer to making more new signings, but he did not seem overly optimistic.
“With this market, it’s very difficult to believe in something,” Conte said. “I have some targets.”
“These targets will be very difficult to buy. But now we have a game against Burnley which is more important than the market.
“[By the end of the window] I hope to have some more players than now.”
On signing Eduardo from Dinamo Zagreb, Conte made it very clear where the Portuguese stands in the goalkeeping order.
He added: “We have three keepers: first Courtois, second Begovic, third Eduardo.”
