Antonio Conte: Meets Mourinho again

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has responded to jibes from Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho that his team are “defensive”.

The Blues were helf to a 1-1 draw by Burnley on Sunday, missing the chance to go 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Pedro’s opener inside the first 10 minutes was cancelled out by a wonderful Robbie Brady free-kick on his full debut for the Clarets.

Mourinho was accused of having a dig Conte’s side after Manchester United beat Watford 2-0 on Saturday, when he claimed: “Chelsea are a very good defensive team.

“They defend very well and with lots of players and I think in this situation a very defensive team wins the title with counter-attack goals and set pieces goals so I don’t think they will let it slip but football is football.”

When asked about the accusations from Mourinho, Conte responded: “Yes [I heard it], but I don’t like to reply to other coaches.”
