Two goals from Philippe Coutinho and one from Roberto Firmino helped Liverpool to a 3-2 friendly win over Wolves at Melwood on Friday.

As well as Coutinho and Firmino, Lucas Leiva, Alberto Moreno, Dejan Lovren, Kolo Toure, Joao Carlos Teixeira and Allan Rodrigues de Souza started the behind-closed-doors game as Jurgen Klopp took the chance to get another look at some of his squad in match action.

Coutinho put Liverpool ahead after eight minutes, with Firmino adding a second early in the second half, but Adam Le Fondre scored twice to draw Wolves level, leaving it to Coutinho to turn match-winne later on.

Allan has recently returned from a loan spell at SJK Helsinki, whom helped win the Finnish title, but is expected to go out on loan again in January, with a move to Switzerland being discussed, according to the Liverpool Echo.
