Coutinho: British weather tough to adjust to

Philippe Coutinho: Not a fan of the British weather

Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has admitted he is “still struggling” to adjust to the British weather.

The Brazilian moved to Liverpool from Inter Milan in January 2013 and is now regarded as one of the club’s top players. Former skipper Steven Gerrard revealed recently that he expects the player to soon become a top target for either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

He returned to the fold for the Europa League draw with Bordeaux and is set to feature against Norwich on Sunday.

But with temperatures set to drop considerably in the next month or so, Coutinho has revealed he finds it difficult to deal with.

“It’s hard. I’m still not totally used to it, and every time it’s cold I find it really tough,” he told BBC Football Focus.

“But it’s getting better, and I’m making do as best I can.”
