Crystal Palace are set to strengthen their defence with the loan signing of Arsenal full-back Carl Jenkinson, according to Sam Allardyce.
The Eagles boss, who earlier this month ruled out the sale of Christian Benteke, also said he was looking to bring “three or four” players to Selhurst Park over the course of the transfer window.
And one of the new recruits is set to be Jenkinson, who has already spent two previous loan spells at another London club in West Ham.
“I think we’ve exhausted this country and we’ll be looking to Europe now,” Allardyce revealed at his latest press conference.
“But we appear to have an agreement with Arsenal [for Carl Jenkinson].”
