Juan Cuadrado has revealed that was eager to leave Chelsea again this summer in order to return to Serie A giants Juventus.
The Colombian winger did not seal his Stamford Bridge exit until the very end of the transfer window and is back with the ‘Old Lady’ on a three-year loan deal which is said to include a clause for a permanent transfer to be made.
“It was exciting to see,” Cuadrado told JTV. “To see the stands and the noise the fans make, I’m excited by the public’s support.
“I did everything to come back, and thanks to God I’m here. I’m very happy.”
Cuadrado has yet to feature for Juventus so far this season, with the reigning Serie A champions picking up where they left off last season and recording a perfect, unbeaten start to their campaign.
