Cup final tickets allocated

Arsenal fans will be changing ends from their semi-final win over Reading and will be situated in the east section of the stadium for the final, with Aston Villa wearing their traditional home strip after winning the coin toss for kit colours. Arsenal will wear yellow and blue.

As well as the 50,000 ticket split between the clubs, 20,000 tickets will be distributed to volunteers within football from counties, leagues, local clubs and charities, while 17,000 will be used by Club Wembley members.

The allocation mirrors that of last year’s final, in which Arsenal rallied to beat Hull City.

Arsenal have around 45,000 season ticket holders and Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis expressed his disappointment last year at the allocation, saying “the balance in the FA’s allocation system is not right”.
