The Football Association reportedly published England’s Euro 2016 squad on Monday afternoon, before quickly removing the post.
In an apparent mistake the official site published a squad of 23 that will be heading for France next month.
England coach Roy Hodgson will name his 23-man squad on Thursday, well ahead of the UEFA May 31 deadline, with a standby list of six more players.
The Sunday Telegraph claimed five strikers and just seven defenders will feature in the squad and the squad that was apparently published, albeit temporarily, did include just seven defenders but only four strikers.
The strikers reportedly selected were Wayne Rooney, Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge.
Wait a minute..
