Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed a statement will be made on Tuesday as his move to Manchester United appears to edge closer to completion.
However, the legendary Swedish striker has been known to string the media along in the recent weeks, firstly keeping his next club a secret after stating that he knew where he would be playing next season, before telling reporters last week that he was “enjoying” the rumours about his future and would only put an end to them when he got bored.
Ibrahimovic told Fotboll Skanalen on Sunday following Sweden’s 3-0 win against Wales: “There will be a big announcement on the 7th June. It will be this summer’s big bomb.
“It feels good, feels better than good. A lot will happen with this news, so hopefully you’ll all enjoy.”
Manchester United fans may not want to get their hopes up too much, though, as ‘Ibra’ is due to unveil a new clothing range on the same date.
