Borussia Dortmund have warned suitors Liverpool and Barcelona that in-form striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not for sale.
A blistering start to the season – 10 goals in just eight Bundesliga games – has seen the Gabon striker heavily linked with both Liverpool and Barcelona.
But Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has told Bild that the club are planning their future with the former St Etienne marksman.
“We plan clearly with Auba,” he said.
Klopp has done his utmost to distance himself from raids for his old Dortmund players, saying: “I have no intention whatsoever to lure Dortmund’s stars to Liverpool.
“I am not interested in how much money I will be allowed to spend in January.
“It is only October and I don’t even know how many games there are left until the winter. But we clearly have plenty of games left and we will be taking a look at our own players first.”
