Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly hoping to snatch Ivan Perisic away from Manchester United after demanding the winger be included in Inter Milan’s proposed move for Lucas Moura.
Incoming Inter head coach Luciano Spalletti is chasing out-of-favour PSG winger Lucas and is hoping one of his first pieces of business will be to finalise a move for the Brazilian.
Lucas, 24, has two years left on his contract in Ligue 1, but he is expected to leave Paris this summer and Inter are deadly serious.
According to Inter news, the Serie A club have reached a verbal agreement with the Brazilian, but the Nerazzurri are yet to reach an agreement with PSG.
PSG though are firm admirers of United target Perisic and, claim the report, have demanded the Croatian winger is included in a player-plus-cash swap deal to sign Lucas.
Perisic, however, is thought to prefer a move to Manchester United and he has already reached an agreement with Jose Mourinho’s men.
United have reportedly seen an opening €40million bid rejected by Inter, while talks between Inter and PSG are expected this week as the French giants attempt to lure Perisic away from Old Trafford.
Inter are believed to be chasing €60million to let Perisic, who has reportedly told Inter he wants to leave this summer, despite having three years on his contract to run.
Mourinho has been chasing Perisic for months, having visited Croatia in the international break in March. Mourinho met up with ‘transfer guru’ Predrag Mijatovic in Zagreb to discuss a deal for Perisic and is hoping to secure his transfer this month.
