Senad Lulic: In hot water

Striker Anthony Stokes, winger Gary Mackay-Steven and midfielder Stuart Armstrong are all available for the Hoops as they aim to extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points over Aberdeen.

Stokes was suspended for the controversial Scottish Cup semi-final defeat by Inverness Caley at Hampden Park on Sunday.

Armstrong and Mackay-Steven were cup-tied for the match having represented Dundee United earlier in the competition.

Celtic talisman Kris Commons were forced out of Sunday’s 3-2 defeat with a foot injury, but is expected to be available.

The versatile Charlie Mulgrew has been training for over a week after recovering from a hamstring tendon injury but is not likely to play for another couple of weeks.

Dundee midfielder Paul McGowan will miss the visit of Celtic because of the curfew he was placed under following his recent conviction for assaulting a police officer.

Defender Gary Irvine is likely to still miss out against the Scottish Premiership leaders due to a knee injury.

Midfielder Gary Harkins (shin) and Luka Tankulic (hamstring) will both face fitness checks following their recent injuries.
