Eddie Howe is refusing to be drawn on Bournemouth’s striker targets as he prepares to bring in reinforcements during the January transfer window.
The Cherries have been linked with the likes of Palace striker Dwight Gayle and also Roma’s £16million-rated Argentine forward Juan Manuel Iturbe.
While Howe hopes to strengthen the squad when the January transfer window opens, he would not be drawn on any potential new recruits.
“I have absolutely nothing to give you on that one,” Howe said when asked directly about Iturbe.
Howe continued: “I have ideas, but we will have to wait and see. We will be working as hard as we can to make the right decisions for the football club.
“If we do something we will try to make the squad better, some astute signings if we can, but there are no guarantees.”
