Eden Hazard is no good at advice, says brother Thorgan

Thorgan Hazard: No advice from Eden

Thorgan Hazard has admitted that his brother Eden is not much use when it comes to giving him footballing pointers.

Thorgan, 23, was at Stamford Bridge with Eden until he left for Borussia Monchengladbach for £6.8million last July. He failed to make the same impact as Eden at the Bridge though and after a loan spell in the Bundeslige he signed for Monchengladbach without making a first-team appearance for the Blues.

However, the younger of the Hazard brothers has been in fine form this season scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 10 appearances.

However, the Belgium international has revealed it’s no thanks to his older brother Eden who isn’t too keen on passing on his knowledge

”He’s happy for me. He tells me I’m in hot form, but also that I have to keep going like that,” Thorgan told magazine France Football.

Eden Hazard, Antonio Conte

“We hope we’ll meet up with the national team so that we can play together.

“But he doesn’t give me any advice in particular. He has his own career to deal with.

“We’re two different players at two different clubs. He doesn’t bother me by saying, ‘do this, do that…'”

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard is confident Antonio Conte can turn things around.

“He’s a top guy, he tries to speak a lot with the players, to talk a lot, and we are pleased to work with him,” the 25-year-old told Chelsea TV last week.

“He has the passion to do his job. He gives everything on the bench and we try to give everything on the pitch.

“He’s a top manager, he’s a top man.
