Enrique has confirmed that the Catalan giants have received offers for the Spain forward, with reports in Spain claiming both Chelsea and Manchester United are in the hunt for Barca’s fourth-choice striker.

Enrique is hopeful Pedro will stay, even if his €30m release clause could leave the club powerless if the player wants out.

Speaking at a press conference following Barca’s 2-1 victory in their pre-season opener against LA Galaxy, Enrique said: “I’m not going to say what I said, or what he told me.

“It’s the decision of the player. When he says something, then I’ll say something.”

The treble winners secured a comfortable win thanks to goals from Luis Suarez and Sergi Roberto, with Manchester United up next on Saturday.
