Quartet chase Bayern outcast

Two Premier League clubs are among those chasing Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa, according to reports.

Sky Italia claims that Tottenham and Manchester United are after the Brazilian, and Calciomercato reports that Bayern are open to selling him.

PSG have also now joined the race to sign the unhappy winger who has been a bit-part player for the Bavarians this season.

According to Calciomercato’s Nicola Balice, Juventus are set to meet Bayern Munich after Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.

The Parisiens are the most interested party after Juve the report claims, but with competition high both clubs will be vying to tie up a deal as soon as possible.

Reds join Mendy race

Benjamin Mendy: Tipped for move to Man Utd

Liverpool have joined the pursuit of Monaco star Benjamin Mendy, according to French newspaper L’Equipe.

The publication claims that Jurgen Klopp’s side have joined Manchester City, Manchester United and Barcelona in the hunt for the 22-year-old.

Liverpool Echo believe that Mendy is still more likely to move to City or Chelsea this summer.

However, the L’Equipe report states that they are “up for the fight” and see Mendy as a priority target this summer.

The Frenchman played a big part in the Monaco team which went on an unlikely run to the Champions League semi finals before they were knocked out by Juventus.

Mendy came through the youth system at Le Havre and joined Monaco from Marseille last summer.
