Euro Paper Talk: Liverpool, Spurs eye defender; Man Utd track Dutch starlet

The five Real Madrid stars who are expected to be sold this summer have been revealed, while a European heavyweight has been in contact with Mauricio Pochettino, according to Friday’s European papers.

REAL QUINTET HEADING FOR SUMMER EXITS

The main five players expected to leave Real Madrid this summer have been revealed in a report on Diario Gol.

Gareth Bale, Isco, Marco Asensio, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are the men in question, with the report stating that Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City have already been in contact over Bale, Isco and Asensio.

The sales of the quintet are expected to fund a huge revamp of the first-team squad at Real after their dismal La Liga title defence this season.

Club president Florentino Perez is said to ran out of patience with Bale, due to the Welshman’s constant injury issues, while Modric and Kroos have not performed to anywhere near the level they did last term.

Isco and Asensio are two players the La Liga giants would prefer to keep but the report goes on to state that they will be allowed to leave if the right offers come in.
