Euro Paper Talk: PSG want Reds GK target; Spurs eye forward

A Liverpool keeper target is wanted by PSG, while the Reds have been linked with a move for a Roma full-back and Tottenham want a North Korean striker, according to the Euro papers.

TOTTENHAM TO BATTLE JUVE FOR YOUNG STRIKER

Tottenham have reportedly joined Juventus in race to sign Cagliari’s North Korean forward Kwang-Song Han.

The 19-year-old is currently spending a season-long loan spell at Perugia and has been impressing with seven goals and three assists in Serie B so far.

Juve are said to be favourites to land the player, who is a former target of Liverpool, but Mauricio Pochettino is looking to bring some of the world’s top young talent to north London as he aims to build the club’s future.

LIVERPOOL, NEWCASTLE HOPE FOR EMERSON

Roma full-back Emerson Palmieri are hoping to sell the left-back to a Premier League club, claims a report in Italy.

Liverpool and Newcastle have been linked with the 23-year-old, who has recently returned to action following a knee injury.

Juventus and Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in the player and Juve were believed to be hoping to seal a €25million deal for the Brazilian.

Roma are now willing to listen to offers for Emerson and the Corriere della Sera claims Roma are keen to sell him to a Premier League club in the hope cashing in on the player.

A €25million bid is being readied by Liverpool, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Emerson, whose contract runs until 2021, has played just 15 minutes in Serie A this season.

BARCELONA PLANNING SHOCK €235M SWAP DEAL

Barcelona are ready to ditch €135million summer signing Ousmane Dembele, according to fanciful reports in Spain.

The France forward joined the La Liga pacesetters in what was then a club-record deal over the summer, but the former Borussia Dortmund man was sidelined by a hamstring in just his second game for the club.

Having just made his comeback, Dembele has once again been struck down by a hamstring problem and faces a another month on the sidelines – much to Barca’s frustration.

And according to a bold claim in Don Balon, Barcelona are ready to ditch their summer signing and have already contacted Atletico Madrid in an effort to use him as a makeweight in a €100m deal for Antoine Griezmann.

France forward Griezmann has long been on Manchester United’s radar, but the player appears to be leaning towards a move to the Nou Camp, given the gathering speculation in Spain.

And the claims – albeit quite fanciful – that Barcelona are ready to offer Dembele in a €235m swap deal for Griezmann, will only heighten claims that the player is bound for the Nou Camp, as opposed Old Trafford.
