Euro Paper Talk: Barca submit crazy Liverpool offer; silly money for Neymar

Manchester United will offer Neymar an eye-watering wage to sign this summer, while Barcelona have joined the race for Mo Salah by tabling an insane offer to Liverpool, according to Wednesday’s European papers.

NEYMAR OFFERED ASTRONOMICAL WAGES BY UNITED

Jose Mourinho has told Neymar he can earn wages beyond his wildest dreams if he signs for Manchester United this summer, according to the latest reports in Spain.

The Brazilian forward was again in the news this week when it was claimed he was ready to push PSG to let him move on this summer – with Mourinho offering him three guarantees should he move to Old Trafford.

Now Spanish outlet Don Balon has taken the reports a significant step forward by claiming United have promised to pay Neymar world-record wages of £625,000 a week, which equates to an eye-watering €711,000 a week; nice work if you can get it!

It’s claimed United want to put a package together that would make it impossible for Neymar to refuse them, with the Red Devils relying on financial help from main shirt sponsor Chevrolet to make the deal happen. The US car manufacturers are keen to break into the Asian market and see the Brazilian as a powerful marketing tool to help that happen, so it’s claimed will part-finance his incredible move.

It’s all a little pie-in-the sky at this stage, but we’ve seen stranger things happen over the years….
