Neymar has held transfer talks with Man Utd and Man City, while it seems Jorginho’s proposed move to Man City is not yet wrapped up amid other interest, all in the Euro papers.
MAN UNITED AND MAN CITY TRANSFER TALKS REVEALED
Neymar has held talks with both Manchester City and Manchester United over a potential transfer, according to reports in Spain.
The Brazilian won the Ligue 1 title in his first season in France with Paris Saint-Germain and contributed 27 goals in 28 matches in all competitions.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon claims has met both the Manchester neighbours over the possibility of completing a transfer to the Premier League.
Brazil team-mate Philippe Coutinho, who joined Barcelona from Liverpool in January, has reportedly learned of his secret meetings with the Premier League sides.
And the report continues by suggesting that both United and City are prepared to rival Spanish giants Real Madrid for Neymar.
JORGINHO AGENT REVEALS COMPETITION
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal all are reportedly trying to hijack Manchester City’s transfer of Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
The Italy midfielder is close to completing a move to Manchester City with his preference apparently being to join the Premier League champions.
“Jorginho is still under contract, but if Napoli find an agreement with City then he goes to Manchester,” Joao Santos told CalcioNapoli24.
However, the agent has today also admitted other Premier League clubs have been in contact with him over a move for the £50million rated player.
Speaking on Radio CRC on Friday, Santos denied reports that other Serie A clubs had been in contact with him, but revealed that he has spoken to other English teams.
Santos said: “I am in Brazil. No one has called me from Italy. But I’ve been called by Liverpool, Manchester City, also Arsenal and Chelsea.”
City look the obvious favourites to get the deal done and Pep Guardiola said this week that finding a replacement for Yaya Toure was his priority this summer, but Liverpool could yet scupper the deal, while Chelsea and Arsenal have registered an interest.
