Euro Paper Talk: PL trio ‘table proposals’ for Salah; Messi wants Chelsea star

Three Premier League giants are sniffing around Mohamed Salah, Lionel Messi wants a Chelsea man to join him in Catalonia and Emre Can could go to Real Madrid, according to Wednesday’s European papers.

PREM TRIO MAKE MOVES FOR SALAH

PFA Player of the Year Mohamed Salah is wanted all over Europe apparently.

Real Madrid are understood to be interested in the 43-goal forward, but now Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are also keen.

Diario Gol claim all three have “tabled proposals” for the Egypt winger, who cost Liverpool just £36.9million last summer.

Salah was signed by Chelsea from FC Basel in 2014 but he was shipped out of the club by Jose Mourinho, who is apparently interested in him again at United.

Salah, who is under contract at Anfield until 2022, is expected to be offered fresh terms as a reward for his fantastic form this season.

NAPOLI DEFENDER TO MAKE CHOICE KNOWN SOON

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all spoken with the agent of Napoli right-back Elseid Hysaj, according to reports in the Italian press.

The Albanian defender has a €50million exit clause in his contract with the Serie A title-chasers and it’s claimed the trio are all plotting moves to bring him to the Premier League.

Sport Italia suggest Chelsea want to sign the player as a replacement for Davide Zappacosta, who has struggled to adapt to life in England and could return to Serie A in the summer.

However, il Corriere dello Sport reckons both United and Liverpool lead the charge and the player will choose between one of the North-West giants this summer.

It’s suggested Jose Mourinho wants him to replace the departing Matteo Darmian, while Jurgen Klopp is chasing him to provide competition for Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Nathaniel Clyne likely to move on.

The 24-year-old has been a key performer for Maurizio Sarri’s side this season, making 41 appearances in all competitions and proving capable of covering at left-back when required.
