Euro Paper Talk: Man Utd move in on £26.3m Real Betis star

Mino Raiola is ready to talk to Liverpool about a world-record deal for one of his clients, while Man Utd are to pay the €30m exit clause for a Real Betis star, according to Wednesday’s European papers.

LIVERPOOL FAST BECOMING DONNARUMMA’S ONLY OPTION THIS SUMMER

Liverpool are emerging as favourites to sign AC Milan youngster Gianluigi Donnarumma after their hunt to sign a new goalkeeper took two dramatic twists.

According to reports in Italy, Gianluigi Buffon’s impending move to PSG and Real Madrid’s intention to sign Alisson Becker from Roma, will Donnarumma with Liverpool as his only credible option this summer.

According to Calciomercato, Donnarumma’s agent Mino Raiola is desperate to get his client out of the San Siro following their failure once again to qualify for the Champions League. Despite Milan’s improvement under Gennaro Gattuso, a disastrous first half of the season ultimately proved costly – and it looks set to cost them their prized asset also, with reports claiming Raiola is ready to instigate talks with Liverpool as soon as their Champions League adventure is over.

A clause in Donnarumma’s contract allows the player to negotiate a move away and it’s suggested it may take a world-record fee for a goalkeeper of €70m (£61.4m) to convince Milan to do business.

Liverpool were linked with Donnarumma earlier this week, as well as two other central defensive targets.
