Euro Paper Talk: Can to exit Liverpool; Chelsea’s 20% chance for Inter ace

Emre Can has agreed a transfer away from Liverpool, Antonio Candreva could move to Chelsea and Lionel Messi has urged Barcelona to sign Paulo Dybala if Neymar leaves, according to Sunday’s Euro newspapers.

United to beat Juventus to Serbian midfielder

Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea with Juventus facing defeat in the race for midfielder.

Gazzetta dello Sport claims that United are set to beat the Italian giants to his signing after they missed out on their number one target, Eric Dier.

However, the Daily Mail reports that Chelsea could apply ‘Lukaku tax’ to any fee after the Red Devils beat the Blues to the signing of the Belgian international.

Roman Abramovich is understood to be prepared to sell Matic to their Premier League rivals but he wants £50million for his services.

The arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco for £40million has paved the way for Matic’s exit from Stamford Bridge after helping Antonio Conte to the Premier League title last season.

Messi urges Barcelona to sign Dybala

Lionel Messi is reportedly trying to convince Barcelona to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus with intense speculation surrounding the future of Neymar.

Don Balon claims that Messi wants the Spanish giants to fill Neymar’s boots with compatriot Dybala if the Brazilian leaves the Camp Nou.

Dybala scored 19 goals in all competitions as Juventus won the Serie A league title and lifted the Coppa Italia as their domination of Italian football continued.

Reports have suggested that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to pay £199million to land Neymar, which is more than double the current world-record £89million fee paid by Manchester United to Juventus for Paul Pogba last summer.

Barca boss Ernesto Valverde recently shrugged off the rumours about Neymar’s future by saying: “We want Neymar with us.

“We know his value on the pitch and what he brings to the locker room.”

And the rest…

Antonio Candreva’s agent Federico Pastorello has not ruled out a move to Chelsea for his client: “I would say it’s 80 per cent that he stays at Inter but Chelsea? You cannot exclude anything at the moment”.
