Elias Kachunga: Has impressed for Huddersfield

A trio of Premier League clubs are reported to be interested in signing Huddersfield’s on-loan striker Elias Kachunga.

The 24-year-old frontman, who is on a season-long loan from Bundesliga outfit Ingolstadt, has scored 10 goals and provided three assists this season from predominantly a wide role.

Those impressive stats have sparked interest from Everton, Middlesbrough and Watford, according to the Daily Mirror, but Championship high-flyers Town have an option to sign Kachunga permanently at the end of the season for £1.5million on a three-year deal.

A lot will depend on whether Huddersfield can seal an unlikely promotion to the top flight but if they don’t then expect the Premier League vultures to circle if Kachunga carries on his current rate of progress.
