Ronald Koeman will reportedly make the signing of Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann one of his top priorities when he takes over at Everton.
With a deal for Koeman looking close to being finalised, the Dutchman is widely expected to revamp the club’s squad this summer in a bid to make them major forces in English football again.
Bankrolled by the club’s new major shareholder Farhad Moshiri, the former Barcelona player is set to be handed a £100million transfer war chest at Goodison Park.
With doubts emerging over the long-term future of John Stones, Dann has been touted as a possible replacement should the England international leave this summer.
Since Dann signed for Crystal Palace back in 2014 for an undisclosed fee, the 29-year-old has been an integral part of the Eagles backline. The defender has made 84 appearances for the club along with scoring eight goals, five of which came in the 2015/16 season.
The Liverpool Echo claims Koeman is a known admirer of the player and had been plotting a move to bring him to Southampton this summer, but will instead now target him for Everton.
