Everton to launch £25million summer raid for West Ham star

Everton are reportedly ready to launch a £25million summer raid for West Ham and England left-back Aaron Cresswell.

Toffees boss Sam Allardyce signed Cresswell for the Hammers four years ago from Ipswich and is known to be a big fan.

Cresswell is a Liverpudlian who started out at Tranmere and is said to be keen on a return north.

A source told SunSport: “Aaron is keen on moving back to Liverpool and Everton would be a great move for him.”

The Hammers star has been capped three times by England and is a key part of David Moyes’s squad.

However, a return to his roots may be too hard for Cresswell to turn down and West Ham will face a fight to keep one of their better players in what has been a tough season for the east London outfit.
