Tim Cahill and Louis Saha could return to the Everton starting line-up with boss David Moyes set to make changes to his side.

Cahill and Saha could be recalled having both come off the bench – with the latter scoring – in the 3-1 Premier League victory over Fulham on Sunday.

Moyes says he has “a few knocks” in the squad to assess, while James McFadden, who rejoined the Toffees last week, is still working his way back to full fitness after the serious knee injury he suffered last season.

Victor Anichebe remains sidelined with a groin problem.

Chelsea look set to turn to their youngsters and fringe players once again.

The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Josh McEachran, Oriol Romeu, Ryan Bertrand, Salomon Kalou, Florent Malouda, Alex and Paulo Ferreira will all be expecting to feature after starting in the previous round against Fulham.

Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole and Jose Bosingwa are all suspended and Raul Meireles is cup-tied, while everyone else who started Sunday’s controversial Premier League defeat at QPR could be rested completely or on the bench.

Everton midfielder Tim Cahill is doubtful for Sunday’s final game of the season.

The Australian missed last week’s defeat at West Brom due to continuing problems with a foot injury and could be given a chance to start his summer break early.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is suspended after his sending off at The Hawthorns while Marouane Fellaini and Louis Saha are out with ankle injuries.

Chelsea will be without Ramires and Yossi Benayoun for what could be Carlo Ancelotti’s final game in charge.

Both have picked up hamstring injuries and will sit out the trip to Merseyside alongside Jose Bosingwa, who had already been ruled out with a knee problem.

Everton forward Victor Anichebe is doubtful for the game with a groin strain.

Otherwise manager David Moyes has no fresh injury worries for the Goodison Park clash.

England defender Phil Jagielka, an unused substitute against West Ham last week after recovering from a groin strain, is in contention to return.

Midfielder Tim Cahill is the only major absentee due to his continued involvement with Australia in the Asian Cup.

Frank Lampard remains a slight doubt for Chelsea.

The England midfielder missed Monday night’s 4-0 Premier League win at Bolton with a calf injury and manager Carlo Ancelotti is mulling over whether to risk him either as a starter or a substitute.

Gael Kakuta and Patrick van Aanholt both left Stamford Bridge on loan this week, while Alex (knee), Yury Zhirkov (calf) and Yossi Benayoun (Achilles) remain sidelined.
