Bournemouth have moved ahead of Norwich in the race to sign Ashley Nadesan after taking the non-league hot-shot on trial, sources have told TEAMtalk.com.
Nadesan is currently plying his trade at Horley Town in the Combined Counties League Premier Division, but his goalscoring exploits have alerted clubs higher up the football pyramid.
The 21-year-old has scored over 50 goals for Horley Town so far this season after netting 42 last season and scouts from clubs in the Premier League and Football League have been flocking to cast an eye over Nadesan.
The 6ft 2in striker has been on trial at Millwall and AFC Wimbledon and several League One and League Two clubs are understood to be ready make an offer for Nadesan. Norwich have also been heavily linked with the player.
Now Premier League Bournemouth have asked to take a look at Nadesan at close quarters by taking the player on trial at Dean Court this week.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has shown previously he is ready to give non-league players a chance having signed Harry Arter from Woking in 2010 and also tried to sign Charlie Austin at Poole only for a transfer embargo to block the move.
