Norwich are among a number of Premier League and Football League clubs that are tracking non-league hot-shot Ashley Nadesan, sources have told

Nadesan is currently plying his trade at Horley Town in the Combined Counties League Premier Division, but his goalscoring exploits have alerted clubs higher up the football pyramid.

The 21-year-old has scored 44 goals for Horley Town so far this season after netting 42 last season and scouts from clubs in the Premier League and Football League have been flocking to cast an eye over Nadesan, with the Daily Mail also reporting their interest.

Premier League outfit Norwich are understood to have sent scouts to watch Nadesan in action in recent weeks and are continuing to keep tabs on the forward.

More and more clubs are checking non-league talent following the success stories of Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy and Southampton’s Charlie Austin in recent years with both of those strikers coming from the non-league ranks.

Nadesan has been invited to train with League Two side AFC Wimbledon this week and the 6ft,2in striker is expected to make the move to the professional ranks in the near future.
