Lewis Grabban: Could feature against Norwich

Sunderland have agreed a deal with Bournemouth to sign striker Lewis Grabban on-loan for the season, TEAMtalk can reveal.

The 29-year-old ended last season on loan at Reading, but has been told by Eddie Howe he can move on this summer.

A host of Championship clubs have made approaches, but Sunderland look to have sealed a deal.

TEAMtalk understands Grabban is due on Wearside on Wednesday for talks and a positive outcome could see the Black Cats secure his signature this week, with the player expected to replace the goals of Jermain Defoe, who moved in the opposite direction earlier this summer.
