Brendan Rodgers has spent around £300m during his Liverpool tenure – but which players have been successes and who has let him down?

Rodgers took charge at Anfield in the summer of 2012 and immediately set about changing the football mentality at at the club, with his own brand of tiki-taka.

The former Swansea and Reading boss has spent an estimated £291.5million on 31 players during his time in charge, though £200million of that has been recouped through sales – the £75million departure of Luis Suarez and Raheem Sterling’s £49million switch to Manchester City swelling that figure significantly.

But is the failure of the players brought in at Liverpool under Rodgers and the club’s transfer committee that have attracted plenty of negative press and amid growing doubts that his time at Anfield might be coming to a close, we list which of those signings have proved their best buys, and which have shown up to be expensive flops.
