Raheem Sterling could be worth including in your Fantasy Football teams this weekend with the Manchester City winger facing former club Liverpool.
In October, Manuel Pellegrini’s side faced Bournemouth at the Etihad and were missing Vincent Kompany, David Silva and Sergio Aguero. Sterling was the player to step up in their absence.
The 20-year-old went on to net a first-half hat-trick in City’s 5-1 rout of the promoted side. In the process, the winger began to quieten criticism of the fee paid for him over the summer.
Using their extensive database, Oulala have assessed Sterling’s first 11 Premier League appearances since his £49million switch.
Sterling has scored four goals from those games and is the club’s second highest scorer, sitting two behind Aguero. The four goals have come from 24 shots, resulting in a shot conversion rate of 17 per cent.
He has also registered an impressive shot accuracy of 65 per cent, up significantly from last season at Liverpool where he clocked up an accuracy of 53 per cent.
Sterling has registered a passing accuracy of 86 per cent at a rate of 28 successful passes per game. Again, an improvement from last season. Sterling was completing an average of 26 successful passes per game at an accuracy of 81 per cent at Liverpool.
He has created 16 chances for team-mates in his first 11 Premier League appearances at his new club but to date only has one assist to his name.
However, Sterling has also completed 14 successful take-ons and is City’s most fouled player, winning his side 17 set pieces.
It will be the job of Nathaniel Clyne to stop Sterling on Saturday. However judging by the winger’s stats the Liverpool right-back will be facing his toughest test so far this season.
