Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores believes there is “more to come” from his players as they continue to upset the pre-season doom mongers.
The Hornets were heavily tipped for an immediate return to the Championship, but the club go into 2016 riding high in ninth place and Flores has been praised for blending a squad which saw heavy investment over the summer.
With a host of new faces from across the globe, the Spaniard has made light of the challenge and believes there is more to come.
“I can feel that the players want more, they feel like what they have done so far is not enough,” Flores said.
“This is an amazing characteristic for the players to have, and for sure we will try to improve in the second half of the season.
“They want to give the best in an individual way and a collective way, with the idea to reach our objectives.”
