Forest complete Ward deal

Ward spent four seasons with Derby, scoring six goals in 2014-15 as they narrowly missed out on a place in the Sky Bet Championship play-offs, but his contract was not renewed.

The 29-year-old came through the ranks at Aston Villa and enjoyed a prolific spell with Torquay United before moving on to Chesterfield and Sheffield United.

He is manager Dougie Freedman’s second signing of the summer, the first having come on Wednesday when centre-back Matt Mills joined from Bolton on a free transfer.
