Fulham frontman Ross McCormack looks set for a transfer away from Craven Cottage this summer with the likes of Newcastle, Aston Villa, Norwich – and one Premier League side – all linked with his signature.
McCormack arrived from Leeds United two years ago for an eye-watering fee of around £11.5million and has been a regular source of goals for the Cottagers having netted 38 times in nearly 100 appearances for the club.
The player was reportedly close to joining Middlesbrough during the January transfer window, until the Teessiders instead opted to sign Jordan Rhodes, but it’s no surprise that the Scotland international has attracted interest once again.
According to the Croydon Advertiser, recently-relegated clubs such as Newcastle, Aston Villa and Norwich are all considering the possibility of making a move for the former Rangers star, who will all be looking to add some extra firepower to their ranks in their quest to return to the Premier League.
Crystal Palace, however, are also reportedly in the hunt for the striker and at the moment are currently seen as favorites to acquire the striker’s services with Emmanuel Adebayor and Marouane Chamakh likely to leave Selhurst Park this summer.
That would leave Alan Pardew with just three forwards in his squad and the signing of McCormack would certainly provide cover and competition to his squad.
