Foxes without suspended Waghorn

Waghorn, on loan from Sunderland, begins a three-match ban after he was shown a straight red card 10 minutes from the end of Tuesday night’s 3-1 home defeat to Bristol City.

His absence is likely to pave the way for leading scorer Matty Fryatt to return to the starting line-up.

Fryatt’s demotion to the bench against the Robins was one of four changes made by City boss Nigel Pearson following the 5-1 humbling at Nottingham Forest, and after another comprehensive defeat more changes could be in the offing against the Owls.

Amongst those also in the frame for a recall are full-back Robbie Neilson, midfielders Lloyd Dyer and Nicky Adams and strikers Steve Howard and Yann Kermorgant.
