Joe Ledley: Midfielder could make remarkable comeback

Crystal Palace and Wales midfielder Joe Ledley will miss the FA Cup final and European Championships through injury, sources have told TEAMtalk.com.

Ledley was forced off in last weekend’s 2-1 win over Stoke after picking up a leg injury in a challenge with Charlie Adam.

It was hoped the injury was not serious, but scans have confirmed Ledley sustained a fracture to his leg.

It means Ledley will miss this weekend’s final Premier League game of the season against Southampton as well as the Wembley showpiece against Manchester United on May 21st.

The injury is set to sideline Ledley for several months which will rule him out of Wales’ Euro 2016 campaign in France.

News of Ledley’s injury will come as a major blow to Wales boss Chris Coleman with the midfielder playing a key role in helping Wales qualify for the finals.
