Arsene Wenger is likely to recall a host of fringe players for Arsenal’s final Europa League group stage match at home to BATE Borisov on Thursday.

The Gunners are already assured of progressing in top spot and Wenger will continue his policy of mass rotation for the competition with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud expected to come in.

It remains to be seen who Wenger deploys in defence as, with Shkodran Mustafi struggling with a thigh injury suffered in the defeat to Manchester United, he may rest another centre-back for Sunday’s trip to Southampton.

Arsenal (from): Ospina, Macey, Debuchy, Holding, Mertesacker, Chambers, Dasilva, Bellerin, Nelson, Maitland-Niles, Wilshere, Willock, Elneny, McGuane, Giroud, Walcott, Iwobi, Welbeck, Nketiah, Akpom.
